J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. RAISES $50,000 FOR CHARITABLE ORGANIZATIONS IN NEW JERSEY & PENNSYLVANIA

On Thursday, May 17, 2007, J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. hosted its 4th Annual Crossing Borders Charity Awards Luncheon. More than 230 guests gathered at The Palace in Somerset, NJ, to honor women in real estate and economic development from both New Jersey and Pennsylvania. The annual fundraising event benefits the Displaced Homemakers Network of New Jersey and New Choices/New Options Program of Pennsylvania. Both organizations provide programs that aid in transition and enhance the employability and earnings of single mothers and displaced homemakers.

During the event, two women were honored with the Community Impact Award for demonstrating outstanding leadership and economic improvement within their community. The 2007 award recipients were:

Jan Armfield, Regional President, Northeast Pennsylvania, Wachovia Bank
Joan Verplanck, President, New Jersey Chamber of Commerce

Through corporate sponsorships and donations, J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc.
raised $50,000 for the two charitable organizations. Sponsors included Elberon Development Co.; Flemington Car and Truck Country; Jersey Central Power & Light, A FirstEnergy Company; Land Services USA, Inc.; Langan Engineering & Environmental Services; Morgan Stanley & Co.; Prudential Financial; Realogy; Team Capital Bank; Wachovia Bank; Children's Specialized Hospital; CIT; EcolSciences, Inc.; Environmental Consulting, Inc.; Gibbons P.C.; G.S. Wilcox & Co.; Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ; PSE&G; Sperry Van Ness - Imperial Realty; Verizon and Wiss & Company, LLP.

In addition to the awards ceremony, attendees heard personal success stories from two women who have benefited from the agencies' programs and services.

"Honoring women in real estate and economic development is the premise for the Crossing Borders event," said Jim Petrucci, founder of J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc., "but knowing that the funds we raised give more women the opportunity to succeed both in the workplace and as mothers is really special."
