IRON HILL CHARITY GOLF OUTING

J.G. Petrucci Co., Inc. RAISES $60,000 FOR Two Military SUPPORT ORGANIZATIONS IN NEW JERSEY & PENNSYLVANIA

EASTON, PA, October 18, 2007 — On Monday, October 8, 2007, J.G. Petrucci Company, Inc. (JGPCO) hosted its 4th Annual Iron Hill Charity Golf Open.  Held at The Club at Morgan Hill, the event raised a combined $60,000 for the benefit of the Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council (LVMAC) and the New Jersey National Guard Family Programs (NJNGFP).

Major corporate sponsors of the event included:

A. Scott Enterprises, Inc., Broughal & DeVito, LLP, Commercial Construction Services, Inc., Comroe Advanced Power, Inc., Country Classics, Inc., Eii, Inc., Environmental Consulting, Inc., Environmental Waste Minimization, Inc., Fred J. Moyer Plumbing, Inc., K & L Gates, Land Services USA, Inc., Lehigh Valley Site Contractors, Inc., Manko, Gold, Katcher & Fox, LLP, Muschlitz Excavating, Inc., O'Donnell & Naccarato Structural Engineers, Panfietti Construction, Inc., Pany & Lentz Engineering Co., Pusey Electrical Construction, Strahman Valves, Inc., The Gehringer Corporation and Yardville National Bank.

“Our company is proud to support both the LVMAC and NJNGFP,” said JGPCO founder Jim Petrucci. “We share their beliefs that government can’t do all that is required to support our military personnel and their families – the business community must step in.  Many thanks to the dozens of companies that have joined us in this effort.”

The event was kicked off by the Dieruff High School Air Force ROTC presenting arms, followed by the singing of the National Anthem. During the cocktail hour, a group of actors in Civil War regalia set off cannons (with blanks!) commemorating the event. After dinner, awards were presented to the 2007 LVMAC scholarship winners and the tournament’s champions.

LVMAC and NJNGFP work to improve the lives of local military, veterans and their families, to foster and coordinate support from local businesses, organizations and communities and to promote awareness of the military’s role in defending America.  In addition, both organizations provide monetary assistance through scholarships and grants to needy military families.

Members of the Dieruff High School Air Force ROTC present the colors to start off the day’s festivities.

A group of Civil War re-enactment actors with Huckstep's 1st Fluvanna Virginia Battery fired cannons to commemorate the event.

One of the students who received a scholarship as a result of this fundraising event takes the time to thank a local veteran.
