The 9th Annual Iron Hill Charity Golf Open was held on October 8th at The Club at Morgan Hill in Easton, Pennsylvania. $50,000 was raised for the Lehigh Valley Military Affairs Council (“LVMAC”) and National Guard Family Foundation (“NGFF”).

The event was kicked off by a Presentation of the Colors by the Louis E. Dieruff High School USAF Jr. ROTC Color Guard.  Major Nathan Kline, United States Air Force -  Retired, who spoke to the group about the challenges he faced during World War II.
                                                            
LVMAC and NGFF work to improve the lives of local military, veterans and their families, to foster and coordinate support from local businesses, organizations and communities and to promote awareness of the military’s role in defending America.  In addition, both organizations provide monetary assistance through scholarships and grants to needy military families.
